About Bristol Biomechanics
What is Functional Patterns?
Functional Patterns is a training methodology that was founded in 2006 by CEO Naudi Aguilar. Naudi has conducted seminars globally certifying practitioners like us.
We confidently say that Functional Patterns is the best in the fitness industry, take a look at the results achieved world wide by Functional Patterns practitioners.
What makes Functional Patterns different?
Functional Patterns takes a first principles approach to training the human body. Understanding the most fundamental movements that define our species allows us to determine what stimuli we should give our bodies to enhance its function.
Standing, walking, running and throwing are the most fundamental according to anthropologists. Functional Patterns is therefore designed around enhancing these functions to improve performance and eliminate pain. If you are are a human being, FP is for you. Most of all, FP achieves results like no one else in the industry.
Our Training and Qualifications

The HBS programme runs across four levels, HBS1 through to HBS4. Each level requires demonstrated competency before progression.
